Dr. Lochan Karki is one of Nepal's foremost physicians, currently serving as Professor and Rector at the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Bir Hospital, Kathmandu — the country's oldest and most prestigious postgraduate medical institution.
With Nepal Medical Council License No. 4687, Dr. Karki holds FRCP (Edinburgh) and has served in multiple critical national roles including as President of the Nepal Medical Association (2019–2023), Editor of the Journal of Nepal Medical Association, and Aviation Medical Examiner for CAAN.
